IES Super Weatherstrip Adhesive - 5 oz.

Hi,

Sounds like a fun project! Our IES Super Weatherstrip Adhesive is designed to adhere weatherstrip, vinyl, fabrics, etc to a variety of surfaces (including painted surfaces). I suspect it will stick to the polyurethane paint but we don't know for sure. This adhesive has a 30-60 second dry time before you join the surfaces. The instructions say for weatherstrip you should apply the adhesive to both surfaces but I don't see any mention of a total cure time. If possible, I would carefully apply adhesive to both surfaces and clamp the rub rails in place for 24 hours to be sure it has fully set.
