Generator air intake elbow retainer. These were used only on cars equipped with air conditioning and retain the cooling hose elbow to the generator. The application is 1958 Cadillac after engine # 100991 excluding commercial chassis and all 1959 - 1961 Cadillac all models with A/C. Replaces GM part # 147 1893 and instead of the original mild spring steel it is made of stainless spring steel so it will not tarnish. Top quality, USA MADE to original specifications.
