Accelerator Pedal

“The jury is out as to whether this part is satisfactory. The accelerator pedal is completely rigid and inflexible from the tip of the accelerator to the base that screws into the floor of the car. I expected a pedal that was hinged, or flexible, at the base and the pedal itself to allow for pressing the pedal down on acceleration and having it return to neutral when I took my foot off the gas pedal. I don't know how this design will accomplish that since the rigid base does not bend in front of the screw base when the gas pedal is pushed to accelerate. More to follow.”
