I don't think the originals had plastic ends. They have large rubber molded ends, yes. These molded ends typically have a metal core like the originals. The seals also have the small plastic install pins every few inches along the seal as original. I have been doing this over 20 years and have never seen door seals in this era with plastic ends, they were always rubber, originally from the factory. See full answer »
